Gauge
What is a Gauge?
A gauge is a mechanism that determines how liquidity incentives and rewards are distributed across the platform's liquidity pools. By voting with governance tokens, users influence the reward allocation for specific liquidity pools.
The more votes a gauge receives, the larger the share of $KYO emissions allocated to liquidity providers in that pool.
Each pool's gauge distributes trading fees generated by the pool and external incentives to voters, proportional to their voting power.
This ensures that liquidity incentives align with community priorities, promoting active participation and efficient resource distribution.
The gauge system empowers users to directly shape the protocol’s reward strategy while benefiting from trading fee distributions.

Kyo Finance now aims to become an open liquidity platform for all LP providers. There is no whitelisting required by Kyo Finance to create gauges or add bribes.
As introduced earlier, anyone in Kyo Finance can create a pool composed of various tokens and fees. A gauge is automatically created with the pool and anyone can bribe it, which is applied in real-time. Even more, bribers can choose how long their offered bribe will be released and they can also fine-tune the duration of the release period for each bribe token.
Through this, Kyo Finance plays the role of a diverse liquidity market that allows customization, and liquidity providers can utilize this in a permissionless way.
